THROCKMORTON SHIRTS

We  have found a great source for one at a time ordering of embroidered golf shirts, denim shirts, caps etc.  at reasonable prices.  The crest and name turned out great on these shirts.  See below.  You can order any number of colors--green is just the model.   The cap is a summer type with mesh inserts. New is the infant sweatshirt.  The ordering link  is below.

We also have located a more basic white, design-it-yourself Tee shirt that can be printed (not embroidered) and, best of all, you can have 5 lines of print on the back---perfect for your 1st five generations in your family lineage.  How this works:  first, save the graphic below to your computer (just highlight it/select, then right click to "save picture as").  There are other heralds/crests on the internet you can use.  It is suggested that you try this in your photo/image software such as Microsoft PhotoEditor to see that you are happy with the size and other characteristics.  We recommend doing a WordPad file to organize what you want printed so you avoid errors by just copying and pasting, because once you are at the shirt site, you will be designing your own shirt with these elements.  By the way, you can save or copy the herald to that same WordPad file too if you want it all in one place.  Our basic Tee supplier is an affiliate program.  That means there  is a small commission on sales.  That commission will  benefit the reunion  and Throckmorton Newsletter misc. expenses such as mailing to those without a computer etc.  It will not go to me as webmaster to keep.

          Here are the Throckmorton shirts.     We have a closeup here of the text and crest.  The setup fee has been paid for this already.  You will be paying only for the embroidery of your order.  The setup is for what you see here, no other font or logo.  Please do not send any orders to me--our supplier handles the orders directly and we simply provide the link.

HELP: I've had some e-mails about how to design the shirt. If you are not familiar with 
working with images, try right clicking on a herald above then <copy> then 
open your Microsoft PhotoEditor or similar software, under file select "new", then in the 
box that appears, center your cursor and right click to <paste>.  Now look this over well 
to be sure it it not too ragged or background color showing etc.  If you are happy and 
don't need to modify it, then under File <save as> and name the file (ThrockmortonHerald) 
and close.  

Be sure you like how it looks.   Because if you don't like the background etc. whatever you 
upload to ArtApart is what you are going to get.  They do not  modify images for you.  So 
be careful and be sure you like the herald.  I have 3 showing for that purpose, one is a little 
smaller, one has a white background, one has a background that should be changed with 
your software to transparent (check <help>  on your toolbar for how to do that).  Once you 
like it, save again and name it.  Still don't like it?  Try printing it out, trimming with 
scissors, then scan with  white sheet of paper over it.  And save.
 
When you go to ArtApart  at step #1 select

at step #3 select <or get from disk>

      This will allow you to browse your computer for the file you named that has the 
herald you saved.  Click on <browse> when it appears in the instructions box 
that will open. Find the file you saved.  Upload it and indicate you agree to their terms.  
Then when it says it is successfully uploaded hit <close> and go back to selecting font, 
color, follow directions from there. Try this any number of times.  As long as you have 
not proceeded to give them your credit card information you can exit at any time or 
"go back" to a previous step.
