Throckmortons arriving at Ellis island
| Between 1892 and 1924 all travelers arriving at the Port of
New York by passenger ship were processed through Ellis Island. Because Throckmorton
ancestors date back to the 1600s you may not have considered it likely
a search would be productive. However, Throckmortons and many other
Americans who traveled abroad , not solely immigrants, are listed. If you go to the search page of

year of travel, marital status of a "missing link". You can see a picture
